It’s no surprise that on October 28^th, Michelle Rahn Bridal was all a-buzz.  With the help of couture headpiece, jewelry, and veil designer, Renee Pawele, and 3 of Salon Buzz’s top hair stylists, we transformed our quaint atelier into a full on bridal styling haven, treating scores of lovely brides to be to complimentary hair trials and styling to discover their ideal bridal  “do”.  After getting dolled up with Buzz’s amazing team Renee Pawele helped brides add “something blingy” to their look, topping off their new hair with her decadent pieces – from feathered cages to Swarovski encrusted floral hairpins to mantilla veils – Renee’s absolutely stunning collection had brides lingering into the late hours as they sipped on Effen’s latest cocktail creations, including Oprah’s own favorite the “Moscow Mule” (yes, that’s really the name).  Thanks to all who joined us for a buzz-worthy evening!

Well…not technically. While none of us here at Michelle Rahn actually said “I do”, we did participate in one of the most unique, whimsical, and super fun events in town, HITCHED! This fabulous soiree is curated by Bash Please and HITCHED founders Paige, Kelly, and Audrey, and brings together creative pioneers in the wedding industry who , in their own words, think outside the pure white box. For LA’s HITCHED event that meant delectable and gorgeous sweet tables from Amy Atlas, a rad Bluegrass band, whimsical paint by numbers guest book, kissing booth, photography from the ever so talented Sarah Yates, and more! Summer Watkins, wedding stylist extraordinaire , hand-picked Michelle Rahn for the evening’s fashion show, and our gowns floated down the runway to oooh’s and aah’s from the crowd of lovely brides and guests. And what night would be complete without a few photos in the Smilebooth topped off with a snowstorm of confetti?
